This is a Hege Haus/Pottmes (on both sides) & Pottsiepen/Wittekind/Madlage breeding. Complimentary lines of accomplished hunting qualities on land and in water, with great search coverage and exceptional use of nose.
vom Zamora’s first planned breeding between Karpaten Irbis Wednesday and “Wyatt” Bond vom Rollenwald.
This pairing has been health tested with the DKV and OFA, and are TESTED/PROVEN in field and water, tracking, obedience, scent detection, and conformation standards.
Wednesday and Wyatt have complimentary structures, and balanced temperaments. We expect versatile puppies who excel at hunting in both field and water, as well as have the working drive, biddability, and physical make up for other versatile sports/disciplines.
Wednesday has surpassed my expectations of what a balanced dog is. Settles well in the house but can turn it on and deliver a great performance in many skills that I ask her to do. She has a playful and silly nature about her that is welcoming to people and other dogs of both genders. She demonstrates biddability in training and balances that with enough independence to perform many tasks on her own. Her versatility is demonstrated in hunting on land and in water, but also has the drive to train and compete in other sports such as Obedience, Scent Detection, Tracking, and taking part in Conformation Shows. She is very affectionate and is easily reinforced by food and toys when training. Lastly, she has influenced me to be a better trainer. An intellectual dog, who thrives on latent learning, minimal reps, and is three steps ahead in thinking has kept me up on my toes in doing her justice. She is fully owner trained and handled by me in the Derby, AZP, and VGP.
Wyatt is a balanced tempered male who is neutral with dogs of both genders and shares a house with two little boys he loves. I have watched Wyatt work various skill sets in the field and water. He displays natural ability and determination in whatever he is asked to do. Wyatt is an average size DK male, short backed and standing at 25 inches in height. He displays plenty of front and rear angulation with correct movement.
Good match owners are those who know the breed or have spent time researching the characteristics of this breed. We love owners who plan to put in the time/effort to work their dog and include them as a loving member of the family.
