Health Testing
vom Zamora breeding dogs are health tested to the DKV standards.
DKV Health Testing Regulations:
- A hip joint dysplasia evaluation score of HD A1, A2, B1, B2. Verification and documentation are ensued in compliance to the DK-Verband regulations (implementation rule governing the control of genetic disorders and defects).
- Osteochondrosis dissecans (OCD) examination of the shoulder joint with the diagnosis OCD Free/Normal is additionally required in order to be breed qualified.
- Elbow Dysplasia (ED) Free/Normal
- Transitional Vertebrae (TV - Ubergangswirbel) Free.
vom Zamora also health tests for the following:
- Cardiac Evaluation by a Cardiologist
- Eye Exam by a Ophthalmologist
- Elbow radiographs
- Cone Degeneration
- Degenerative Myelopathy
- Von Willebrands
